The work I do with models is commonly referred to as figurative photography.  Figurative images use the human body to convey an idea or mood to the viewer.  In my work there is often a sexually suggestive element as is usually the case when women are used to model lingerie and some of the more risqué fashions.  My style also tends toward the slightly abstract wherein the model's identity is not part of the image.  Instead, the focus is on the geometry of her body.

I work almost entirely in black and white, experimenting with both nude and non-nude poses.  The mood of the images ranges from somber to mildly erotic to humorous.  The only boundaries are those dictated by good taste.  The target audience is moderately open-minded viewers of both sexes.

Currently the photos are only used in my portfolio and on this web site.  While I'm not pursuing anything beyond that at the moment, in the future, the pictures may be sold as fine art prints, exhibited in galleries and museums, or published (books, calendars, poster art, etc).  While my work is primarily in the nature of art, commercial use of the images is possible.

Age Range:  18-30

Figure:  Moderately Slender, with B or C cup natural chest.

Skin:  Smooth complexion, no tan lines, and preferably no tattoos, scars, or stretch marks.

Ethnic Look:  Open to all ethnic appearances.

Make up Skills:  While a makeup artist/stylist is sometimes used for more sophisticated requirements, models must have the basic ability to apply makeup smoothly and evenly, correctly matching skin tone. 

Modeling Skills:  None required but the model should be comfortable with partially and fully nude poses.

Hourly rate:  Models are paid a small hourly rate (e-mail for current rate) immediately upon completion of the shoot.  A minimum session time can be arranged for models more than 75 miles away.  Paid time includes outfit changes, makeup touchups, and short breaks.  

Prints:  In addition to cash, I will supply 8x10  prints to the model of any images I deem to be usable.  This usually amounts to 3-4 prints per hour of shooting deliverable within 4 weeks of the shoot.

Travel Pay:  All shoots are done at Krueger Photography in Huntsville, AL.  A partial travel allowance of 30 cents per mile round trip (500 mile max) is provided and is payable immediately upon completion of the shoot.

I require that all models sign a model release allowing me to use the resulting pictures.  The release I use is standard full release.

For those women who would like to try modeling nude but wish to have their identity protected, I will accept local applicants under the same requirements and terms as described above.  The only difference is that the model's face will not appear in the pictures and her identity will not be disclosed to the public.  There are some examples of this in the Sensual Art galleries such as the image at right.

Non-Nude Modeling

While I generally only use models interested in nude work, I occasionally have projects open to models who would be interested in risqué non-nude modeling.  This might include women who would not fit the model qualifications above due to physical  scaring or age.  Compensation includes prints and cash, but is commensurate with the less stringent requirements. 

The qualifications for non-nude modeling are:

• Local residence

• Very slender

• Attractive face.

• Clear facial complexion.

• Age 18 to 45.

• Own clothes that include very formal dresses, business suits, couture hats, fur, or haute couture garments. 

• Have good make up skills and a willingness to experiment with exaggerated effects.

• Comfortable with sexually suggestive poses.

I will provide model references prior to any agreement to do a shoot.  I only ask that we agree in principle on the generalities of what's expected from both model and photographer prior to that.
