Refer to Map #3.  Note that the map does not show all the stop lights on Memorial Parkway (Hwy 231).  

If you're coming in from the north, please note that the area covered on this map is about 6-8 miles south of where highways, 565, 72, and 431 intersect with Hwy 231.    

If you're coming in from the south, the area covered by the map is located about 3-4 miles north of the Tennessee River bridge.  

Find Mtn. Gap road and turn east.  Follow Mtn Gap over the hill to the first light.  There will be a Fire House on the left.  Turn right (south) at that light onto Cheney-Thompson.  Captiva Court is the third street on the right and we live in the first house on the left.  The house is light blue with white trim and dark blue shutters.

From Birmingham:   Take I-65 north to Hwy 36 (about 73 miles) and go east on 36 to Hwy 231.  Go north on 231.  Driving time is 1.5 to 2 hours.
From Nashville:   Take I-65 south to I-565.  Tale I-565 east to Hwy 231.  Take Hwy 231 south.  Driving time is 2-3 hours.
From Chattanooga:   Take Hwy 72 west to Hwy 231.  Go south on 231.  Driving time is 2.5-3 hours.
From Memphis:   Take Hwy 72 east to Hwy 231.  Take Hwy 231 south.  Driving time is 5-6 hours.
From Atlanta:  Take I-20  west about 85 miles to US Hwy 431.  Take Hwy 431 North about 105 miles to Huntsville.  Driving time is 4.5 to 5 hours.
Alternate route from Atlanta:  Take I-20  west about 140 miles to Birmingham.  Take I-65 north about 73 miles to Hwy 36.  Take Hwy 36 east to Hwy 231 and go north into Huntsville.  Driving time is 4 to 4.5 hours.
